At Brainard Rivet, we pride ourselves on our dedicated and hardworking team. Today, we’re excited to feature Tim Fawcett, one of our Sales Engineers who has been with us since March 1st, 2016. Tim’s passion for his work, his commitment to fostering customer relationships, and his vibrant personality have made him a valuable asset to our team. When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Tim shared, “The people I work with, both coworkers and customers.” His love for connecting with others is evident in everything he does, from working directly with customers to collaborating with his colleagues.
Tim was drawn to Brainard Rivet because of the company’s strong values. He explains, “The overall attitude of Brainard Rivet. They care about their customers and the relationships they have with them. They also care about their employees and get to know them on a personal level.” For Tim, it’s not just about doing the job—it’s about being part of a team that values relationships and community.
Tim’s role as a Sales Engineer involves a bit of everything! He’s busy working directly with customers on orders, handling everything from emails and phone calls to answering questions about current and pending orders. He also works with our stock and release customers, pricing current parts, creating quotes, and entering new parts into our system. He supports new customers and even steps in to assist with order entry when needed. It’s a dynamic role where no two days are the same, and Tim thrives in this multifaceted environment.
When he’s not busy helping customers and ensuring smooth operations at Brainard Rivet, Tim enjoys a variety of hobbies. He’s a music lover, especially when it comes to live music. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast who loves exploring nature, particularly in nearby Mill Creek Park. Something surprising about Tim is his passion for photography. He’s got a great eye for nature photography and capturing the beauty all around him!
As for his favorite things, Tim is a fan of Chinese food and sports. He’s a die-hard Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Penguins fan, so he’s 
always up for a good sports debate. And when it comes to music, his idols include Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Dave Matthews. When asked which superpower he would choose, Tim jokingly said, “Telekinesis, just so I could get chores and yard work done without lifting a finger.” We can definitely see the appeal of a little extra help around the house!
