We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Brainard Rivet team, Andrew Marshall, who joined the team this month as our new Sales Manager. Andrew comes to Brainard Rivet with a strong background in relationship-based sales and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers find the right solutions for their business. Let’s take a closer look at Andrew’s background, what motivates him, and what he brings to the Brainard Rivet team.
Focused on Relationships & Long-Term Partnerships
What drew Andrew to Brainard Rivet was the opportunity to grow, both professionally and personally, while working for a company built on trust and long-term partnerships. “I wanted to join a role where I could grow as a salesman and as a person. I have a lot to learn, but I’m eager for the opportunity and ready to give it everything I have for myself and for Brainard.”
In his role as Sales Manager, Andrew’s focus is on building new connections, learning our customers’ needs, and ensuring every order delivers the right product at the right time. “I enjoy learning about other businesses and figuring out how Brainard Rivet is the right supplier for them. It’s about building a relationship not just for now, but for the future.”
A Background in Customer-Focused Sales
Before joining Brainard Rivet, Andrew spent five years as a Sales and Leasing Consultant at Greenwood’s Hubbard Chevrolet, where he developed a strong foundation in customer service, communication, and consultative sales. That experience continues to shape the way he approaches his new role: with curiosity, transparency, and a commitment to doing what’s right for the customer.
Beyond the Office
Outside of work, Andrew’s favorite role is being a husband and father. He and his wife stay busy with their kids, enjoying walks, trips to the park, and the library. They also enjoy cheering them on at various sporting events and activities. A lifelong sports fan, Andrew proudly supports the Ohio State Buckeyes, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Cleveland Guardians. When the weather allows, he also enjoys getting out on the golf course.
Get to Know Andrew
If Andrew could choose any superpower, it would be teleportation. He’d love to get rid of travel time and have the ability to go anywhere in the world with just a snap of his fingers. When it comes to how the people closest to him would describe him, Andrew says “genuine” and “personable” would be top of the list, along with being “probably a little loud, too.”
